Quote Share Reference

Settings reference

Setting	What it does
Enable Quote Share	Turns Quote Share on for your tenant.
Allow Account Name Updates	Lets the customer update the account name, shown as Company Legal Name on the shared quote.
Require Complete Contact Address	The customer must give a full address: street, city, state, postal code and country. Turn this on if you charge tax.
Purchase Order (PO) Number	How the PO Number field behaves: Hidden, Read-Only, Editable or Required (Editable). Only available when PO numbers are allowed in Quote Settings.
VAT Number	Same options as PO Number. Only available when VAT numbers are allowed in Quote Settings.
Require Payment Method	The customer must add a payment method. If off, the payment form isn't shown. Needs a payment gateway.
Collect Payment Before Quote Processing	The customer must make the first payment before the quote is processed. Needs an active payment gateway (Settings → Integrations → Payment Gateways).
Disable Manual eSign Sending	Removes Send via eSign from the quote's sending options. The customer starts eSign by accepting the quote through Quote Share.
Enable Manual ACH	Shows your own bank-transfer instructions. Enter them in ACH Payment Information.

PO Number and VAT Number states

PO number and VAT number can each be set to one of the following, whether configured at the tenant level or overridden per Quote:

State	Behavior
Hidden	The field is not shown to the Quote Share viewer at all.
Read-Only	The field is visible with its current value, but the viewer cannot change it.
Editable	The viewer can enter or update the value, but it is not required to accept the Quote.
Required (Editable)	The viewer must enter a value before they can accept the Quote.

PO and VAT controls depend on General settings
The PO number and VAT number options above only take effect if Quote Settings › General › Allow purchase order (PO) number and Allow VAT number are enabled, respectively. If the corresponding General setting is off, that field will not appear in Quote Share regardless of how it's configured here.

ACH Payment Instructions Override	Formatted text. Used when ACH Wire Transfer is allowed. If empty, instructions come from your payment gateway where available.

Quote Share Rules list

Link expiration

You can set an expiration date for the quote share link. After that date, external users will no longer be able to access the shared quote. This adds a layer of security and urgency.
