If you do not see a payment that was successful in Stripe, the most common reason is that the payment method for that customer is either not set-up, or set-up to the wrong Stripe customer. To investigate and resolve,

  • Confirm the Stripe customer id matches the payment method for this account in MonetizeNow (looks like cus_hgk3WGg1X)
  • (for ACH Credit Balances) Open an applicable invoice and select 'Pay Invoice'. This will charge the Stripe Credit Account and record a payment in MonetizeNow

Only one Stripe customer account can be connected to one MonetizeNow account. That said, any payment methods added via Stripe directly or via paying an invoice will be automatically added to both platforms.

As a result, then next time a customer pays an invoice they can change their payment method. Alternatively, by using our payment method interface with Stripe, you can add and adjust payment methods directly from your application or via API.
