Capabilities
What the AI Assistant can do
The assistant can retrieve and analyze data within your MonetizeNow tenant. Common capabilities include:
- Retrieve data: The assistant can run queries to surface information from your tenant, including:
- Quotes
- Accounts
- Invoices
- Bill groups
- Offerings
- Rates
- Summarize records: The assistant can explain and summarize information from records such as:
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Billing activity
- Generate data tables: The assistant can compile structured summaries such as:
- Lists of quotes
- Lists of invoices
- Contract and revenue summaries
Current limitations
The assistant currently has limited ability to write data. Creating or updating quotes is in alpha and may work only with specific prompts.
Because this capability may interfere with existing workflows, users should carefully review outputs before using them.
For example, if quotes are normally created from opportunities in your CRM, we recommend continuing to follow that workflow.
What the AI Assistant cannot do
The assistant currently cannot:
- Create most new records
- Modify system configuration
- Create saved reports
- Replace existing operational workflows
However, it can still retrieve much of the information typically accessed through reports.
Example Use Cases
Quote Analysis & Summarization
Sales teams and finance users can use the assistant to quickly understand quote details and pricing outcomes.
For example:
- "Can you summarize the most recent draft quote?"
- "Explain the pricing outcome for quote [quote ID]."
- Generate a table summarizing the last 5 quotes created in this tenant including:
- Quote ID
- Quote amount
- Account ID
- Contract start date
- Contract end date
- Quote status
- Quote type
This helps users quickly review quoting activity without manually building a report.
Billing & Invoice Analysis
Billing teams and finance users can use the assistant to analyze invoices and payment behavior.
For example:
- "Explain a charge on this invoice."
- "Does customer X typically pay invoices on time?"
- "How many unpaid invoices are open for customer X?"
- "Generate a table of the last 5 invoices created including ID, amount, status, and account name."
- "Provide a summary of invoice [invoice ID]."
Billing Operations
Billing admins can quickly retrieve billing configuration or activity data.
For example:
- "Pull up a list of active bill groups for [customer]."
- "Show me statistics for bill group [bill group ID]."
This can reduce the need to navigate through multiple configuration screens.
Reporting Assistance
The assistant can retrieve reporting insights without requiring users to build queries or dashboards.
For example:
- "How many contracts are up for renewal in [month]?"
- "How much revenue was sold in [year]?"
These queries allow finance and leadership teams to quickly retrieve high-level insights.
