Guided Quoting

Guided Quoting enables reps to answer a series of questions to generate a quote. These questions are defined in a “Guided Quoting Configuration”.


The Guided Quoting Configuration page allows for the creation of questions and the definition of how these questions will populate the Quote payload. The configuration consists of two key sections:

  1. Questions Creation:
    1. Define the questions that sales representatives will answer to generate a quote.
    2. Questions can be categorized by type, such as Date, Offering, Product, or Rate.
    3. And can be filtered based on set values, custom fields, Account properties, or prior answers.
  1. Quote Payload Mapping:
    1. Core quote attributes, along with any quote custom field can be populated by a constant value, a question response, or left blank.

In action, the Guided Selling process enables creating quotes faster than are more likely adhere to business best practices.
