Spring Release: More Powerful Approvals, Deeper Customization, and Better Integrations

This release introduces more flexible approval workflows, expanded catalog customization, improved DocuSign experiences, and stronger Salesforce sync capabilities.

🦾 Greater Approval Flexibility

⚡ What's new?

  • Approval Rules now support multiple approvers within a single rule, using an ordered Approval List.
  • Admins can also now configure which roles are allowed to retain approvals, allowing teams to update quotes without restarting the approval process.

✨ Why you'll love it

  • Simpler Approval Setup: Configure multi-stage approvals (Manager → Director → VP) within a single rule instead of duplicating rules.
  • Better Rep Visibility: Sales reps can now see the current approval stage, assigned approver, and approval history directly on the quote.

🚀 Expanded Custom Field Support

⚡ What's new?

This release expands customization options across Legal Entities and catalog pricing.

✨ Why you'll love it

  • More Complete Legal Entity Details: New VAT and Phone Number fields can now appear automatically on quotes and invoices.
  • Rate-Level Custom Fields: Admins can now define custom fields directly on Rates, allowing more metadata to be attached to pricing. These fields can be optionally displayed on the Quote or Invoice via custom PDF Templates.
    • Rate custom fields are copied when creating account-specific rates, helping maintain pricing consistency.

📝 DocuSign Improvements

Several improvements make sending agreements through DocuSign more flexible and customer-friendly.

✨ Why you'll love it

  • EU DocuSign Support: Connect to EU DocuSign environments to meet regional data residency requirements.
  • Send Agreements as the Sales Rep: DocuSign envelopes now show the Sales Rep as the sender instead of the integration user.
  • Direct Customer Replies: Customers can reply directly to the owner of the Quote or the sender of a document with questions.

☁️ Salesforce Connector Updates

The Salesforce connector now syncs additional data from MonetizeNow back to Salesforce.

  • Keep Account Data in Sync: Updates to Account Name and Address now sync seamlessly between Salesforce and MonetizeNow.
  • More Complete Contact Records: The Contact Job Title field is now included when contacts are synced.
