Document Management, Stripe Charge IDs, and eSign Controls
Even more updates to help you quote and bill at lightning speed.
📁 Revamped Document Management on Quotes
Attaching, organizing, and downloading documents on a quote is now significantly faster and more flexible.
- Upload multiple documents at once instead of one at a time.
- Select multiple documents from your tenant or legal entity library in a single action.
- Download the quote (order form) as a standalone PDF, which is useful for sharing a draft with a customer before signing. Note: the standalone PDF is always the unsigned version, even if the quote has been signed via eSign.
- Download any individual attached document from both the internal and external (customer-facing) view.
- Download everything at once as a ZIP file containing all attached documents.
🔗 Stripe Charge ID Now Stored in MonetizeNow
MonetizeNow now records the Stripe Charge ID alongside each payment. The Charge ID is the reference that appears in Stripe reports and bank statements, making it straightforward to reconcile payments between MonetizeNow and Stripe without manual cross-referencing. The Charge ID is available in payment records and reporting.
🔗 Sync Product and Offering Fields to Salesforce
You can now map custom fields from MonetizeNow Products and Offerings to Salesforce, syncing product metadata from your catalog directly to Salesforce without manual data entry.
Configure mappings in CRM > Salesforce Data Mapping > MonetizeNow → Salesforce, where Product and Offering are now available as source objects. Both sync to the MonetizeNow Product object in Salesforce.
A few important things to know before setting this up:
- Clearing a field value in MonetizeNow will not clear the value in Salesforce; the existing Salesforce value is left as-is.
- Updating a Product record in MonetizeNow alone will not trigger a sync. A sync is triggered by updating an Offering, updating a Rate, or running a manual re-sync via Re-sync Catalog.
✍️ Disable Manual eSign Sending
A new tenant setting, Disable Manual eSign Sending, removes the "Send via eSign" option from a quote's sending options. Instead of reps manually triggering eSign, the customer initiates signing by accepting the quote through Quote Share.
- Useful for teams that want eSign to flow entirely through the Quote Share experience, without reps sending separately.
- Configure under Settings > Quote Share > Disable Manual eSign Sending.
⚙️ Faster Access to eSign Settings on a Quote
The eSign field in the quote header is now a clickable link that opens the eSign settings drawer directly, with no more navigating through menus to find signing configuration. From the drawer, control signing order, whether internal and external signatures are required, and who the esigners are.
📧 BCC Emails on Invoices, Dunning, and Billing Communications
You can now add BCC email addresses at the account, bill group, and dunning rule level. This is useful for automatically logging outbound billing emails in an external system, without the recipient seeing the BCC address.
- All BCC fields are available in Record Automation, so you can set them dynamically via rules. For example, apply a bill group BCC based on account segment or region.
